A Song of Love

Contributed by TwistedCage on Sunday, 3rd December 2006 @ 01:36:27 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

I sit here quietly
inside my churning head
my heart beating softly
against the grain
of a thousand
sorrows

Warmth and comfort I feel,
as I gaze into the deep
unknown of mind
deep into the crevice
of your heart.

Grant to me my wishes
once again...

May your light shine
from these eyes
from my words
from my life
and only for you.

You gave to me Love
you gave to me Grace
you filled my emptiness
and life has become
a grand miracle.

To you I am singing
for you I feel
for you I shall live
and your Love I cherish.

These tears of joy
are for you my God.

Grant to me my wishes
once again...

Bless this earth
as you have blessed me.

Heal the souls
of the wounded of heart...

Open the minds
of the wise,
the eyes
of the blind
and they too
will come home to you

Then, they will forever know
Love

Yes, forever they will know
You

My God,
my strength,
I am complete in
your arms.

I Love you more
than this song could sing
or in a million years
ever convey,
and I want to thank you
for Loving me, too
