Loving in a Dream
My mind is unsettled
My soul is unrestfull
My heart is unable
To find it’s desired one
Every night this girl haunts me
I dream of her and I
We spend hours with each other
Holding, kissing each other
Showing my affection for
The girl in my dreams
Why has she chosen to stay in my dreams
Why won’t she come out and live with me
How come she teases me by holding back
How can I get her to become reality
The one that I love The one that I need
That one that’s not with me
I’ve been unrestfull in my sleep
She’s taking over my dream
And won’t let me be at ease
She’s close to me
Yet I don’t know where she is
Why can’t I be with the one that I love
Oh when can I find peace
How can she do such a thing
And keep me waiting for so long
When will I stumble upon
The one I have become so fond of
She is so far yet I feel her so near
When will my dreams become realities
My prayers answered by God
I’m always on the lookout for a wishing star
Hoping that someday soon
This girl of my dreams
Will stop loving me in my head
And start loving me in my life
So I can start living my dreams

| funny how sweet dreams can become troubles for us. good luck in living your dreams....by the way, great write, i could feel your emotion. i am eluded by these things as well. |
