I'm hurting
I'm hurting because I loved
I'm hurting because of you
As soon as I turned my back
What did you do
You stayed with another guy
You slept with him by your side
You can't say that you love me
That crap goes deeper than my knee
I remember walking up those stairs
I didn't think that I would ever have to care
But then your brother walked out
That look he gave me, that sparked my doubt
When I walked in
You were sitting there
You said that there was no where else
But there was everywhere
You didn't have to sit with him
You didn't have to sleep with him
Now you say, its cause I wasn't there?
Now I say, I don't even care
You ripped out my heart
You threw it off the balcony
You didn't look into my eyes
Cause you didn't want to see
I loved you
And I still do
Thats not something that fades
Not the feelings from me to you
But you don't care
You want what you have
Just someone spare of the moment
I feel sorry for that poor lad
Because you lie
Because you decieve
Your a good actress
You can make anyone believe
But I finally saw
When everyone else knew
I didn't listen to them
Because I loved you
Now I am hurting
Now I am in pain
Even when I held you
Through the pooring rain
I thought you loved me
I thought that you would never lie
But I was wrong
Now I wished I could die
But I'm not going to
Because then you would win
I will get over it
And be happy until my end
I will find someone better
Someone who I can trust
I know that she is still out there
I know she is, she must
But as I am now
I am hurting
I am in pain
And no one will ever know how.

Good for you! Not shutting down when faced w/ something like this is hard...I'm glad you were able to take the pain 'til you found somebody new, instead of, " shutting down" & missing out on the chance to experience love again.Good for you!

This is darn sad. Emotions running wild and very understandable. Been on the receiving end of this betrayal not a cool thing at all.
Yes you do deserve better. Great write but am sorry for the pain.
