Gift

The sun is out
Shining so bright
I just love this feeling
Feeling of warmth from the light
Everything going my way
Not a care in the world
Hope it’s like this for the next day
And all others to come

Chorus
Feeling the warm breeze
On my face
Just puts me at ease
I sit here to ponder
Why life is so great
It is just a wonder
To be awed and amazed
Just such a wonderful gift
That you can receive

I don’t care for time
Just let it go by
I wonder if it’s a crime
To feel the way I do
And not share it with others
Others like you
Cuz I see your face
And there’s nothing but tears
So I decide to share my grace

Sharing the sun’s view
With you feels as good
As the breeze on my face
All the warmth I feel now
Is coming from your smile
