Goodbye, Sorry and thankyou

Its not my fault that i cared
I cant help the fact I was scared,
Id felt that way once before,
then suddenly lost it all,
since then ive been shy because ive felt that pain
and im scared that my heart will break once again.
I wanted to show you how much you meant to me,
but everytime I tryed, my confidence would flee,
not even a cuddle that i know so well, would come from inside me, to hug you aswell.
I dont know how Im meant to feel
or what im meant to say
i just never wanted it to turn out this way,
we hardly talk,
we never say hi,
and everytime i see you,
im dying to cry.
If only you could understand why i feel the way i do,
just dont for one second think its because of you,
because its my past thats the problem,
though I cannot tell,
the day my life changed from heaven to hell.
Youve deleted my messages, Its hurts me inside, because even though I deleted yours they're engraved in my mind.
Carry on how you are, dont let time pass you by,
live life to the full, till the day you die,
just carry on smiling day by day,
and i'll let the thoughts of you just pass away,
Thankyou for making me see beyond the haze,
my life was a daydream, now its a phase,
A chapter that started 'once up on a time'
is about to close, with a meaning so fine,
Some times we have to choose between the good and the bad,
but once the bad is beaten, youll get back what you had,
that little girl has learnt, and grown up oh so much,
the chapters coming to a close, shes now getting in touch.
The reality that was 'a bore', she now knows she cant ignore. Revising lots to do her best, For the exams that will determind her future, and the rest.

hey hun - this is my favorite stanza in your poem because it's the one that i relate to most, i've written a few poems soley about what you've written in one stanza (i babble)
If only you could understand why i feel the way i do,

anywys, i overall really like this poem, i'm more into the begining than the end thogh, i guess i have a weird obsession with sad poetry (lol) but im glad this person taight you a good lessen good luck with life and moving on! |
