sleeping beneath
winter white,
hushed tones
buried under
earthen gate,
hardened clay,
ashen brown dirt,
hidden under rock,
soon to break thru
birth's canal,
reemerge through light,
and breathe again,
little seedlings
spreading wings,
making colors in
worlds beneath,
bone cold feet
feel winter sting,
snow warms
bare branches,
songbirds
lost voice,
singsong winds,
come to me
pretty flowerboy,
love heals,
an unguarded heart,
everything sings,
coming full circle
