the long awaited return of leaving

Topic: Lifepoems

i had then forgotten,
the hell that was to come,
the remembrance of the anomaly,
that took me from my root.

taken from myself,
when all was said and done,
this fire made beauty,
grip long past,
chipping away like a tooth.

the time has come again,
for you to see,
the sacred hole,
the heart is me,
loved.

to make me smile,
when all else passed,
lines across my eyes,
the san antonio city lights,
the towers all just laugh.

keep,
your name,
its mine,
to say,
you could never take my title.

the freecell opens again,
someone else slips in,
the clouds hang over,
now that im sober.

i bite down,
painful,
and overcast,
im waiting.

the return,
of your loss,
again,
do it again,
please just leave.

i dont care anymore,
i am the anomaly,
and its never served me better!
