Stairs one through five,
I see my life,
Pass before me,
In front of my eyes,
Six and seven,
I picture heaven,
Beautiful and white,
Like the stars at night,
Nine and ten,
I’m conscious again,
Before I hit the floor,
And live no more.

I think I see the link. Is it the 29 steps? About the poem though, really effective. My sort of poetry. I love how the simplisticness (if thats a word) makes the poem seem deep and complex. I know that analysy but it flows sooo well. Well done. |
