Back and forth you are blown in the wind,
A tumbleweed in the breeze,
No direction or hope,
Clutching onto fragments of your past.
Down all the old places we used to go,
All those summers past,
Looking for laughter that's long since gone,
Searching for memories in the grass.
We had good times until you cracked,
And forced me to hate you,
You changed from the solid boy I knew,
To one who doesn't know his way.
I didn't leave you there - you left me,
But now it is you who are left,
Still looking for me but I'm gone,
To a place where you will never find me again.
I have grown up,
And you are now left behind,
As a tumbleweed in the breeze,
Of a place where I used to live.

I loved this there is something about the tumble weeds and the nature of this write that is intriquing. The thought of tumbling along is awesome where we were were we will be.
I live in the desert so encounter these tumble weeds often.*smiles*
great work!
