leave our dreams in bed
and sing that song stuck in your head
come and dance with me in the midnight rain
leave our hearts hanging by a chain
paint a masterpeice on your bedroom wall
laugh at yourself whenever you fall
and when the stars and sun become one
and the past nad present colide
we will go back to our beds
and dream those dreams we left behind

You know, I will comment for a couple reasons, one is because when I ask for someone to comment, no one seems to want to,
second, it is a good poem, every person has their own way of writing, long or short, rhyming or not,
I personally think as long as a poem has some meaning to it and is worded well enough, it's good for me.
which brings us to your poem, I liked this poem because it tells a sort of story and it has meaning and in it's own way gives great advice on life or living, and I did enjoyed reading it,
so keep up the work as you are and find your own way of writing. that's the only advice I can give to you, I hope that you understand how I am trying to say this, since I do ramble in my words.
Anyways keep writing.
