America the Deceitful

Contributed by infamouskilljoy on Wednesday, 29th November 2006 @ 05:42:03 PM in AEST
Topic: political

We are the white blue and red
We won't stop till you're dead
As you bathe in your dread
We're at home in hour beds

Not a thought crossed our mind
That we may have been blind
And as you will find
We're not concerned with mankind

With you we will share
The hate that we bear
Resist if you dare
But we don't really care

Any reason to fight
For what we claim to be right
And to show them the sight
Of our military might

We've opened the doors
To meaningless wars
And down to the core
We are thirsty for more

The truth is we lied
And deep down inside
Despite their horror we denied
To aid in the effort against genocide

We are the nation of the free
And we dwell in secrecy
We look down on poverty
TO OPPOSE IS HERECY

It is a strong write though I dont agree with grouping all Americans in this. It is our government. Many dont agree with the war. I know I want my family home but need to support the efforts they are making.
