Mama Take my Hand

Contributed by MandiLee on Wednesday, 29th November 2006 @ 04:39:31 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

How could I be such a fool?
So lost in the game
I don't understand
How to play
And win in the end.
What do I do?

Mama take my hand
lead me through this world
Like I'm a child again
Mama take my hand
I need your guidance here
A light of wisdom near.
Someone with the golden touch
To help me through

Mama take my hand
Put a smile on my face
Oh, dear mama, how could
I be so stupid?
Mama please understand
I might be older
And push away
But mama I still
Need that hand
And I still love you.

Mandi-

A very touching and beautiful poem to your mother. Its true, we all need someone to lead us through life when we hit turbulent times. Its always good to know that no matter what happens, we will have someone there to show us the way. And that they will always be here for us. Very beautiful poem.

Mike
