Alone with a cigarette
Sitting unaccompanied with that cigarette
Thoughts going throughout my mind
Soundless laughter appears past each thought
Memories of all the dim-witted things
I have done and said
Cigarette smoldering downwards to my fingers
More thoughts become perceptible
Tears emerge, tears of happiness
Extraordinary memories come to mind
Which will last a generation
Thoughts of unforgettable happiness
Advancing down the cigarette with warmth on my fingers
Anger emerges to the surface
An anger formed by varied illusions
Thinking about how I could have done it differently
Hating myself for the dumb mistakes I have made
Cigarette has come to a conclusion
With my fingers burned
I come around from this daydream
Thinking in my opinion
On how powerful someone’s mind can get
When smoking unaccompanied with that brainless cigarette
