Battle of Two

Twin beings
burning in the flame.
One screams
refuses to take the blame.
Another stares
mentally traveling
away from the glares.
Hope is an emotion
long lost to they,
The pain they feel
none could convey.
One sees the light,
and goes out of sight.
The last lays in darkness
and weeps, feels less and less.
The anguish it deals with,
from the other's desertion
Desperately hoping it's a myth,
Having destroyed all it's assertion.
