Standing on pavement
Caught in natures breath
Watching through the night
A sight I’ll never forget

Your black chariot silent
As you glide on home
Fading into the darkness
Leaving the rest behind

Despite the foreshadowing
Our story didn’t end
Not the way we thought
Leaving me at a loss

Now, at my crossroad
Another indecision entangles my fate
Uncertain strides, keeping me here
Falling behind, nothing clear

Wishing I could follow your black chariot

Thought provoking to say the least. But for me to have some insight here for you it needs to come out of the shadows a little more. Still nice write!
