Tears of Acid Rain

Contributed by kaylab on Monday, 27th November 2006 @ 01:57:10 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Erase time and erase fate
soon after love, fallows hate
tear drops and sarrows
cutting her wrists
the vampire swallows,
not just the blood
or the hurt and the pain,
but also the anger
that drives her insane.
The faces say smile
her friends say sit down,
Yell "it is time for the truth"
as her smile beins to frown.
Its not like its for fun
its not a thrill to see blood run.
its to blind her eyes from the truth
and the pain
to block out the images
so bad...
they turn tears to acid rain.

♥ Kayla

I liked it. It had a good flow. However, you have to be careful about typos, they take away from the meaning and flow of a poem because people have to stop and figure out hat you're actually trying to say.

I slashed my wrists in an attempt at suicide. I realized after that it was carathetic in that it released much pent up sorrows of VIET NAM and the war. I t was a cry put in blood. BUT, it relieved much inside.

I liked this very much.
The last five lines were really
good. I've often wondered why
people cut. It makes sense to
me now. Great work , Truly , Doug
