I can see life pass on by,
thru the hatred of the millions.
What is next in this crazy world
for someone who just wanted peace and love?
The calls come from the one's in the dark,
they talk of things I know all about.
I'm again alone on this dark road,
no one to walk with, no one to talk with.
I can see the world for what it is,
and I know what is true or false.
What is left for an old soul
that only wants what is right?
What would you want for me,
even though I don't matter to you?
It does not matter anymore,
for I will do what is needed.
I can hear the call of the wild,
and the lion of my heart will once again roar.
