Jekyll and hyde

Topic: LostLove

Under the sky we walk
take my hand ,follow me my dear
for we lead onto a heaven
while this path be clear
not one step back
we pass straight on through
this moment for an eternity
just me and you.
our souls slip entwined
arms wrapped forever here and now
we feel alive not ever shall this end
my kiss be your bliss i vow i send

for i am ever yours my dear
never shall i fall
take me where i stand
i'll be your answer to every call
so on one knee
i passed my life
certain be that future
she became a wife
living in a dream
my smile carven face
breathed the fresh air
without a care,i trusted grace

but never could be
tears of severance i cried
stupid cupid pierced my heart
and sold me jekyll and hyde

so under the sky i beg
alone i trail fate
wherever shall i go
for lonely is the soul without a mate
i head back in reverse
to gain a once oldself
i still crave that dream
only with my heart on the shelf
for one day i pray
i can spoil love again
with these arms more entwined
while dancing in the rain

so forever if be
for now i heal
this past bares a scar
that someday wont feel
until then i'll find a way
to cast away
feelings locked inside
while i dream away
to gleam away
and god knows ive tried

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
