I pass out.
Eyes open to a world of sorrow,
I am told to drive to her house.
They said I had enough time,
But I guess they were wrong.
I see her lifeless on the ground,
They say, "she's gone."
Pain, sadness, and heartache consume my scarred heart.
I kneel down, give her a breath,
A breath of pure agony.
She slips away, into the darkness.
I clench her tight,
I tell her I love her.
It goes dark,
I pass out,
My soul slips away with my love.

Ouch! This is so painful and haunting to me.
Vivid emotion and images. If this is real I am so sorry for this pain.
my soul slips away with my love....
profound!
