between the devil and the deep blue sea,
that’s the only place I want to be
the only space I feel alive
it’s there that you will see me thrive.
between a rock and the hardest place,
chaos and ugly grace
there I am with open arms
soaking up all of their charms
with my back against the wall,
it’s the happiest time of all
the choices I’m forced to make
show me how much I can take.
put me over my head,
in waters too deep to tread
test me to breaking point
that’s when I’m gonna ROCK this joint!
keep your slow life of peace,
all I need is a little release
some calm before the storm
slumber before the dawn.
sweet moments of respite,
a little lovin’ every night
then I’m back in the melting pot
daring life to make it hot.

Another perfectly written work my friend, and yes your right the dram kings and queens is a sad thing Iv know to many of them.( they all got the boot) lol

This is the pure truth here my friend. Its true, a lot of people lead safe and secure lives, but a few of us, just a few, need live on the edge. I myself do my best when the chips are down and Im backed into a corner. Very good work here, I will keep up on your work.
