Green bags, green bags,
Where can they be found?
Are they in the sky above?
Or on the simple brown ground?
Do you find them on the table or chair?
On the floor or hanging on the wall?
Green bags with pink flowers,
Better then the first,
With use in day or night,
Big or small,
The use is the same,
Inside out or right side up,
Green bags with flowers of pink and blue,
Keeping things with us,
Things safely placed within,
The needs of your journey,
And memories of your life,
Identity found and paints for the face up front,
Green bags in your heart,
Filled with hope, sorrow, and fear,
Kept close and closed,
With how you think you are,
And how you want others to see,
Carried the future, past, and present,
Green bags in your heart,
Will they ever open anew?
To give, to live, to love,
Opened to breathe and light,
Will they ever open to me?
Greens bags I hope I can take care of you.

I really like how you build on each stanza with the next - it's a very well thought out poem... I'd really like the know the story behind this one... It is very interesting.
