i would marry marigolds
if smiles were forever
i'd carry heavy clouds
to keep her tears together
i'd hand her roses red
to see her smile fine
if thorns were hate instead
i'd cut the stem inside
through the light of trees
i saw a silhouette
or was it just a memory
of my heart's regret
nonetheless it's fun
to keep her in my mind
with her wings around a sun
and her halo next to mine

WOW & DOUBLE WOW!!! That was beautiful in every conceivable way...content, flow, imagery....WOW!!! I give this two thumbs up, a perfect score of 10 & just for good measure, another resounding, "WOW!". I loved it. Could ya' tell?teehee
