There is no dark black
There is no light black
Just black
It's sometimes inviting
Always never ending
Beckoning to taunt you
Its tantalizing flair haunts you
To some it's enlightening
To others it's frightening
It can be sensuously alluring
Yet deceivingly disturbing
It can create feelings of power
Bleeding through every hour
When we close our eyes
It's all we see
And when we die
It's all we know
Fade to black
There is no dark black
There is no light black
Just black

Those three lines are perfect to open and close it. Good to read when it feels like this...

Any sensory deprivation heightens the remaining senses & therefore when to blackness we lose what we have come to know as sight, our other senses kick into over~drive to create for us another way to see. I love this write as I believe it was written w/ just such vision.

| It's short, sweet, to the point yet thoughtful. Though, to some it can be seen as depressing yet to others it seems like a calm, serene, beauty. |
