Even a fictitious person can be a good one.
Jade Lee, the friend in my dreams
What makes us so alike?
Well we’re both sliced at the seams.
We have the same dark hair
Our clothes are dismal and dim
I understand the solitude
Our lives wakeless and grim
Why do you c r e e p into the room?
Looking for me, Jade Lee
I know we make a match
But why are you here?
Why are you scaring me?
How have I dreamed you up?
What was I sensing?
I guess I was in such need of company
My mind brought you to life
I feel your make-believe presence
And I know
I’m not sleeping. It feels too real
But I am trapped in my dreams….
I feel in my bones
you’re here to stay…..
Jade Lee, don’t leave me alone
Simply let me be
No cause for harm to the arm
My dark friend Jade Lee

You took be back in time to when I was a little girl~ I had a couple of imaginary friends. They helped me get through the toughest of times and kept me company in my lonlinest of times. Some people can view that as weird , I don't though.
A very well written piece of poetry~ well done.
warm hugs,
