As I set out on new road,
I was searching for something I lost.
Passing signs on the way,
That pointed me to a bridge that I once crossed.
“Love,” the sign said,
As it pointed me to a broken street.
I passed many a person on this rue
Determined, they were, their loves to meet.
As I looked on the broken street,
I could see my light.
I hoped that this time down the path,
I would find a love so bright.
I’m still wandering down this winding route
A winding path with dangers fraught.
I see a shape at the end.
Could this shape be my love I sought?
