In Pace Requescat

Please cut these strings that are holding me still
They make only moves that are matching your will
You tear me over here, when I want to be there
When I want to look away, you force me to stare
You tell them I am happy when I want to be mad
You tell them I am guilty when I wish to be glad
The pain of your movements are forever untrue
You'll never know me till you learn to construe
My intricate view known, not by my foe
Especially you and your perpetual throe
