Whispers by candlelight
Eerie calmness hidden by the mask of purity
He stands, beckoning at the door
Illusive withdrawals echoing through empty halls
Blood stains everlasting on the floor
He stands, beckoning at the door
True colors blending with lies of false securities
Still she believes in entities of hope and love
He stands, beckoning at the door
Open the door, I'll love you forever more
She stands at the door, cold and desolate, he on the other side, hot and passionate
Still he stands, beckoning at the door.
Fingers trembling, touching cold metal she contemplates opening the door
He effervescently awaits his prey.
He stands, beckoning at the door
Slowly it creaks open, only to show nothing . . . .
