Loving Someone

Loving someone is not uncommon,
Others' hearts may easily be won,
More important is another thing,
Joy and bliss that also brings;
If you are true to someone from your heart,
And there is full devotion from your part,
Then this feeling must continue to last,
Today and tomorrow should have no contrast.
Your thoughts and ideas might change,
But it would always be very strange
If for that person your affection ceases
And your devotion, with time, decreases
For true love sets its destination high,
It is a blessing that can never die.
