Until The Day

Contributed by ButchCorpuz on Monday, 20th November 2006 @ 11:53:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It's been so long since I held your face
Close enough to be lost in your eyes
And I'm longing for your sweet embrace
Warm enough to soothe my silent cries

It's been so long since I felt your kiss
The sweetest lips I've ever tasted
There's nothing about you I don't miss
Time spent without you is time wasted

It's been so long since I saw your smile
It never fails to brighten my day
And I've been crying for quite a while
Without you, it seems I've lost my way

It's been so long since I heard you sing
I guess I'll be waiting until then
I know someday, somehow, fate will bring
The two of us together again

So I'll wipe all of these tears away
And put a smile to cover this frown
I know I'll see you again someday
Every moment I'll be counting down

There's nothing else I'd be waiting for
There's nothing else I'd be thinking of
I'll be here loving you more and more
'Till we're together again, my love...
