this storm has come
the frost is over
hibernation never lasts forever
slithering into the water
at last, you and i are back together
you missed me
the weak and easy target
your favorite prey
i've been lying here lifeless since you last went away
i missed you too, my friend of gloom
the void in my heart was drowning in echoes
i fear not your touch, for
my sanctuary is sought within your somber meadows
sadness is bestowed upon all whom you know
accpeting my reality
i opt not to fight
for if you never came back to me
there'd be nothing in my life

wow..amazing write. you describe this so well...it's almost as if your talking about a person ....and it puts depression into perspective...so others can almost understand what it's like...wonderfull metaphor. nicely done. |
