Things often hidden,
locked deep away inside.
Feelings that are sometimes left alone.
Deep in the heart to reside.
Feelings that could break someone
Sadden them to the bone,
Feelings that could heal,
Seeds of love to be sewn.
The question then,
these feelings show,
to keep them locked away inside?
Or release them for that one to know?
To keep them inside,
In darkness for them to bloom,
Would be a travesty,
For beauty to be in such gloom.
To plant the seeds
In the heart they belong,
A beautiful flower would arise,
In the place it should have been all along.

this is so true! you've touched my heart and make me want to confess my love to that one special person...despite him having a girlfriend....
hidden love is a pain, and telling that person is more often than not the right thing to do...it sounds so poetic when you say it!
