I am such a worthless boy,
Pathetic, not insane,
How is it that what gives me joy,
Does also render pain?
So far gone, I fear not death,
And every moment cursed,
I've found that this my final breath,
Is better than my first.
Stripped of my humanity,
A rather pointless veil,
Without it I can clearly see,
That with it humans fail.

I really liked the flow this has..it just feels natural,
rolls off the tongue. good job. |

Impressive piece of work. It's brief, but manages to say quite a bit, and you've done a good job hanging on to the integrity of the language while using strict rhyme/metre, avoiding the impulse to warp lines to achieve a rhyme.
A bit bleak, but a perceptive observation. It is good to understand the dark and helpless side of humanity, if it makes our focus on the light any clearer, less held back.
Keep it up.
