Just got off the comfy seat and I'm beat,
Feels like the bitter taste of defeat,
Just got off the booze than drunk some beer,
But problems don't just disappear,
Tried looking straight into her laser eyes,
Burned my pupils, vapourised,
Try and try to do the right thing,
This aching heart is remonstrating.
Just don't know which way to turn to learn,
How not to crash and burn,
Just got over the last rush of pain,
Then the next comes crashing down again.
Tried showing her the flaws in my soul,
Still afraid of losing control.
Try and try to be that special man,
Maybe that's not what I am.
Just got off my contention proud cloud,
Don't want to scream aloud.
Just starting thinking 'bout the man that I've been,
Doesn't bring me any better dreams.
Try being someone that I'm not,
Don't really like that a lot,
Try losing track of the things that crave,
Can't give what I already gave.

Never try to be what you aren't, just try to better understand who you are...at least thats what worked for me.Nice write
