Ocean named emotion

Topic: LovePoetry

I’ve never felt the way I do about a person the way I feel about you

For years I ran from anything with even a hint of pure emotion

Now I dive as deep as I can into the vast ocean of feeling that is within me

I float there for awhile and watch the beauty of it all flowing around my skin

I open my eyes and see that I have drifted to shore I see some one is there waiting

A sweet scent fills my nasal cavities and pulls me towards her standing there

And here on the shore of the beautiful ocean deep within my soul

I stand in front of her and without a word she is singing to me

The silent notes penetrate my brain and her sweet song brings me to my knees

On my knees I look into the eyes of the gentlest soul and my head is filled with words

I place my shaking lips to hers and the sandy shore becomes a blank canvas

Both our naked bodies turn to paint

Memories, fears joys, pains souls are blended together from within this sweet embrace

And when the seemingly endless kiss ends the scene transforms yet again

Lying on our backs on top of cool blades of grass under the warm sun rising

Each blade of grass tells a different story with its cool touch on our warm skin

This silent sunrise beautiful painting and vast ocean are where I go when I think of you

In a world so focused on the chaos of advancement

I find moments of comfort and serenity when I am standing on the edge of this cliff

Hundreds of feet below the ocean screams

Hundreds of feet below you wait

On the shore singing

It’s time for me to dive in again
