The future's then futility
That time when one can only see
no time ahead, a life behind, not yet dead , a sentient mind.
Caring.
Life now is in memories
Living more a reverie
Thinking.
Rebirth? hope ? faith, repentance?
Pray? plea? resignation ? sentence?
The future's then futility, too soon the state senility

Reading this brought to mind what I fear the most as I age, losing touch with reality, slipping into that "state of senility" you spoke of, and disparing that it is the fate that awaits me one day. So I choose to live in this moment ever mindful that I cannot change today what tomorrow holds.
Always enjoy anything that makes me think, so thanks. |
