Love This Depression

Contributed by frmpoison2static on Saturday, 18th November 2006 @ 09:39:59 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

i love this depression and what it does.
how it follows and stays close to my side.
i abide by its rules and dare not break them.
it grabs my wrist and tells me where to go.
chokes my neck and screams at me what to do.
keeps me locked away from everything.
i am nothing inside of this place.
i think she hates my face.

she treats me like a slave.
paranoia in my head she crawls in my bed.
cushioned walls, tight straps around my waist.
im a psycho yea...i am a psycho yea.
curled up in a ball the cats come claw.
i roll and i roll and they scratch and they scratch.
i become lightly unwound.
threads of myself start to become undone.

i am her biggest mistake.
i am her nightmare.
i infected myself on her.
gave her some of this disease.
she doesnt know what i know.
i hope this uneasy feeling comes over you.
like how can i be so emotionally diturbed.
but im insane yea...i am a psycho yea.

i would take my own life.
if i knew that the people..
around me would not cry.
if i was selfish i would end it all right now..
this conscious is the only thing that keeps me breathing.
the cycle of life doesnt work this way.
im happy yea...i am happy yea.
i love this despression and what it does to me.

Im also a "slave" to this mistress called depression. I dont dare to fight her anymore because The more I fight the tighter her grip is on me. This was a good write!
