Falling

Contributed by Destiny on Monday, 17th February 2003 @ 10:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

you lied about a tiny thing
after so long you lied
do you know what you're saying?
you're saying that you lied about other things too
you want forgiveness
I want the truth
I think I've earned the truth
what did I do to hurt you?
You've hurt me plenty
I should walk out the door
it's there open for me
but I ignore it
I don't know why
it's still there
you should know that
you should fear the door that any minute I could walk out
you pretend that it doesn't bother you
in rolls the fog again
its seperating me from you
you can't pretend your way through that
you see it too
you see it just as well as I do
you can't act anymore
because I won't fall for it
you're the one falling now
falling through the snow of hate
through the fog of ignorance
it's your turn to fall
as I stand here and watch
nothing more for me to do
your turn to fall

Dear Destiny, This is a well-written piece and it is showing alot of perceptiveness about hu-man nature. Keep on writing. Love, Great-grandma Bizzy
