Enchanted Escape

Contributed by The_Unknown on Friday, 17th November 2006 @ 01:39:37 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Staggering around
Running into the blur
Being pushed around
With lights flashing
And music blasting
Falling into a dark escape
Blinded by darkness
She grabs my soul
Lays it out like playing cards
And card by card
She takes them away

Her pale, soft looking skin
Dark, brown hair
Curled as if wet
With the lonliest of eyes
Dressed in a gown of black
She was so beautiful

Dancing to silence
The lady of the dark
Dropped each card
One by one
With a slight smile upon her face

Hold but one card left
She guards it from veiw
With a wisp of her hand
There is nothing left to see

Dancing around me
To her own beat
The lady of the dark
Fades away into the black
Appearing before me
And with the twirl of her hand
Appears the very last card
She gently wispers in my ear
Then fades away

Lady of the dark
Please come back for me
I need to see that
Enchanted escape
Once again

Its a sight to behold
So let me pass away
And enter
That enchanted escape
