I wonder
I try to read
Into the abysmal depths
And be freed
From the neurotic figments
That plague my mind
Cast a spell
To make me blind
To the faults
Of my own soul
Stymied by lassitude
Fragmented, not whole
Succumbing to
The Tyrian hues
Acquiescing softly
To this mental ruse
As my vision clouds
My mind sore
From bruises that hurt
Ever so sure
The scars that are left
No longer concealed
The fatal would
Finally revealed.

To each their obsessions but in the mirror of another's eyes we know the boundaries of functionality. When its hidden it comes with compulsion and seeks to roost.
Flap your poet wings and fly into the creative skies let your smoking finger paint words of life and health to guide.
Peace
