I lay my broken heart in your hands whisper,"fix me again"
I turn around and reach for your hand,you look like you don't understand
the shattered pieces of trust stickin in my hand
You've never left me bleeding
I lay my broken wings in your hands, demand you make me fly again
I look to you with fear in my eyes, as I feel the peace inside me die
Now I'm a mess, full of shame and regrets
I thought I'd live through you a while, steal your dreams and your smile
A little more than just hard to love, but you were not quick to despise
you welcomed me with open arms, and dried the tear drops in my eyes
and how do I return your kindness? Fooled you made you love in blindness
It was only a matter of time till you saw the truth, my charade so thin you could see right through
Now I see what you see in me
I would hate you too, if it were me you used
Now I feel that empty still
and I would hate me too for what I was to you
