Topic: oops

Sometimes in life you have to choose which road to take,
Sometimes this can be a major choice to make.
For people often worry that they’ll make a mistake,
And end up wearing a smile they have to fake.
Sometimes at night you lie awake,
Wondering if you made a huge mistake.
Hoping that the choice you did make,
Saved you from one less promise you had to break.
If in fact you made that mistake,
You will have to live with the hearts that you break.
You may feel it in your tears as you start to quake,
You might feel it in your heart, as it begins to ache,
You may feel it everywhere you are,
If you just lost your shining star.

Nice effort. Since the poem uses the same rhyming sound, my only suggestion would be maybe to make it a bit shorter..so that you don't have to repeat the exact words used. Good message too.
