the best thing I can do
is whatever it takes to forget you
in restless nights and sad-filled days
i need to release you so that I
can once again live free
this occurred to me
not suddenly but rather gradually
as the pieces fit the
picture of your face perfectly
there is no room for
more love that it can
withstand
there is no real love in
a game of pretend, in these
thoughts that I send, are penned
with nothing but heart and confusion

Very heart felt...by the end, I wanted to give you a plate of cookies, tuck you in & tell you that the world will go away...but, I'm sure you already have a mother. Still, if it helps...pain is one of the contrasting extremes that defines life from mere existence. Be happy to be alive...even if it hurts sometimes!

wow, jyss!! This is almost different for you ..
different in that I see a certain rhyme to it that not
most of your writes have.
In any case, it's wonderful. The piece AND the style.
Abstract .. and yet .. not.
It's perfect. And absolutely so.
