Out Of My Mind

I haven't written in a while
But my love for you is still there
The kind that’s endured through a lot
A love that can’t compare.
November marks a year since I’ve had you on my mind
Since I wondered if we could be,
Wondered if you were doing the same
And if you could see the love in me.
But that was then, this is now
If I could count the times you broke my heart,
The times you fixed it and filled it once again
The times I told myself there’s only so far that I could bend.
Summer brought the heat
And telling the truth, I had the hots for you.
But you seemed to be moving on.
You had found someone new.
She wasn’t the right one and I wanted to show that it was always me
And now it seems I have my chance
To do anything you want to do, to be everything you want me to be.
No matter what I did or said
I couldn’t stop loving you
Because it was the only thing my heart knew how to do.
Is it possible to fill a heart to the point that it will explode?
Or the smile from you that makes me all warm inside
No matter how cold.
Is it possible to have someone on your mind,
From the moment you wake up to the last seconds of lying in bed?
To feel more love for her, jut by replying words in my head.
Because I can hate you today, and love you tonight
Because it’s the way you look at me, the way you hold me tight.
It’s the way you’ve always been the one for me
Even when I wished my feelings away
It’s the way I can’t write anymore.
Because I still have so much more to say.

aww you're so sweet!
i like this kind of poem, dreamign for that one person who can make all teh wrong things right. the one who can bring sunshine to a stormy day, the one who can make you smile when you were seconds ago screaming inside.

this is my favorite part
i know this situation, i'm stuck in it right now except it's a he not a she and now isnt my chance...i'm waiting for it to come.
