Punishment

Contributed by Immortal-Dragon21 on Tuesday, 14th November 2006 @ 01:57:49 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Suddenly becoming so tired
To stop and subdue a weakened shell
But if you were to go to sleep here
You might never wake again
So for now an immortal wanders
Abandoned by his own dear life
His body scared & stained by his cruel tormenters
As devils without faces scorn his existence
Not an angel & not a demon
Earthbound a sinner till the end
Let judgement be cast upon such a heretic
May he never know a moment of peace
Burn before the eyes of your god
You were once so dear in his eyes
But now soiled by misguidance
Led by the throat into a world of iconic depravity
Never again will you see the place you loved
With every inch of your soul
Here bound in chains you remain
Marked always as a Pariah

Very nice poetry, and true as well. After the fall, naught will ever be the same again. I just hope you fare better than I did...
