Dark Haired Dancer

Contributed by CDG on Monday, 13th November 2006 @ 05:31:17 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

She steps onto the stage, her face all aglow
She begins to dance and takes over the show
My eyes cannot leave her she's so full of grace
An aura of light surrounds her face

It's after the show and I am backstage
Waiting for her seems like an age
I'm one of the many who want her to know
That they were there and they saw the show
She is surrounded by her family
I wish I could be if only to see
The radience of her, this queen of the dance
I'm just standing there wishing that I had a chance
To let her know who I am
That I wan't to know her, not just as a fan
She begins to walk towards me and my heart gives a flutter
All of these words that my heart wants to utter

My dark haired dancer, I love you so much
All of my fears you dispell with a touch
While in your embrace I feel so warm
Like nothing can ruin it, not even a storm
I just wish I could let her her know
That I was here and I saw the show
