Anger was no friend of mine, although I knew ‘him’ well,
He’d been with me for quite a while, and I am here to tell,
I thought ‘he’ helped me gain control when I was feeling lost,
But ‘he’ just punched and kicked, then left me to pay the cost,
Anger was no friend of mine, so it was time to say goodbye,
Now I can show my vulnerability and I’m not afraid to cry,
So if Anger’s with you now, show ‘him’ the door if you can,
Because if you lose ‘your’ anger, you’ll become a real man.

i quite agree.
i used to have a violent temper but now when people start i just smile and walk away, knowing that i'm making them more frustrated because i'm not giving them the attention they are looking for x x
