The line is drawn,
yet we move on.
still looking back
for what we lack.
never looking forward
to what we got.
we continue to fight
not knowing the fact.
we know what we see
but don't know what we got.
who understand that?

what you say here is so true. as humans we all like to dwell on what we don't have, and the past. and we never do know what we have, all we know is what we've lost. so i guess the old saying is true. "you don't know what you've got till it's gone." nice write... such a true write. thanks for posting it.
