As I walk in the rain
oblivion is my companion
not knowing or caring where I am going
anger makes way for numbness
one question is repeated in my head
WHY?
I thought a joke,then suprise
anger, numb, why? repeated over and over
I loved you for so long, sharing everything
and then tonight you told me it was over
you did not love me
I yell into the night. WHY??
the only response is the soft
pitter patter of rain on the pavement
my tears flow silently with the rain
