If I Could.....

I walk into the Kitchen,
And see you There,
Shuddering as you Cry.

I walk up and take you into my Arms,
And hold you Tight,
I rub your arms,
I rub your back.
Slowly you calm down and dry your eyes.

I look at your Face,
If I could take away your Pain,
I would.
If I could dry your Eyes,
I would.
If I could make so you could Sleep,
I would.
If I could help you Eat,
I would.

Your tears break my Heart,
And I cannot bear to see you like This.
It kills me inside to see you so Sad.

If I could go back and change the Past,
I would.
If I could prevent this whole mess from Happening,
I would.
If I could mend your Broken Heart,
I would.
If I coul repair your Soul,
I would.

You are my Family,
You are my Blood,
I want to ease your Pains,
Take away your Anger,
Wipe away your Tears,
Fight away your Fears.

If I could just be There,
I would.
If I could comfort You,
I would.

If I could guarantee Tomorrow would be Better,
I would.
If I could promise the Pain will go Away,
I would.

that's really sweet that poem! and thanks for being there i just feel so torn between guys i guess i really don't know what i want!

you know (in your poem) people don't you usually talk like that (especially not guys.. no offense) but its really neat, to say the least, your truely inspriational!
