A lie in the darkness, the sickness grows stronger
Erosion of beliefs, life decays even longer
Sap strength away, by hiding the lie
and deception feeds the darkenss, and the light starts to die
Protecting the lie becomes the objective
and all you believed in becomes so subjective
Lose your identity as the lie becomes real
and the truth you once had gets lost in the deal
that you made with the poison to take away your pain
then you awake from the addiction
and the scar's all that remains
